There are so many paths in life that lead us. Some look straight and clear. Others twist, turn, and test us to any extent possible. And the truth could be that, there’s never just one right path.

Sometimes we step onto a road thinking it’s where we’re meant to go.
Sometimes we drift away far off, without even realising we’ve moved away from our own rhythm, our own consciousness. And then, one day, somewhere in the middle of it all, we pause and feel something inside “this doesn’t feel right anymore.“
That moment of realisation can be gentle, or it can hit hard on you.
But what’s harder, is what comes next.
Because stepping back, taking that U-turn, admitting that something isn’t for you anymore, that’s the most difficult part.
Most often we have a tendency to keep walking anyway.
We tell ourselves, maybe I’ll get used to it. Maybe this is how it’s supposed to be. Maybe I’m just overthinking.
And as time passes, we find ourselves having travelled so far down that road,
that turning back feels harder than ever. And somewhere along the way, we begin to believe that this is our path and that this is it!
But deep inside, there’s a small, persistent voice that never truly fades, our Gut feeling, which we often ignore.
It’s the one that truly knows when you’re out of alignment,
the one that rings an alarm, reminding you that something within you doesn’t sit right.
It could be the circumstances around you that holds you back, or many other reasons, but if the call is loud and there is at least 10 percent chance for you, please try to pause, think, reflect and re route yourself.
That tiny pause might be all it takes for a new door to open.
The new road may not always be easy. It might challenge you, strip you down, or push you to rebuild from scratch.
Or sometimes, it might just unfold with ease and beauty.
You’ll never know until you take that step.
And yes, there’s fear.
Fear of what’s next, of what others will say, of what happens if you fail again.
Eventually, all the opinions, fears, expectations and everything else fades away. And the truth prevails,
It’s your life, and it has to feel right to you.
It might all click immediately.
Or it might take years before you reach that, peaceful place inside that says,
yes, this is my journey.
But whichever way it unfolds, commit to it, wholeheartedly.
Because the moment you choose to pause, to listen, to realign with your own truth,
that’s when everything starts shifting.
That’s your turning point.
As I sat to pen this down, the thought of a poem by Robert Frost came in mind, ” The Road Not Taken”, in which he wrote..
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
Those lines have always stayed with me right from school days,
They speak about choice, about the courage to take a different road,
the one that may not seem obvious or easy, but feels right somewhere deep inside.
Over the years, I’ve realised that life doesn’t always give us two clear roads in front of us like in the poem, its filled with twists and turns, mountains and valleys, smooth stretches, and off roads. There are blocks, deviations and crossroads when you least expect. And thats all just a part of it. The awareness and courage to find your way back to what sits right within you, is the key.
Pause – Reflect – Realign.
