Follow Your Heart

To follow your heart and take a decision is not so easy, especially when it is not something which everyone follows. And I believe, each one of us, has a spark inside which urges you to do something, but you may not, just because of the fear of “what if it doesn’t go right?” kind of questions, that is deeply engraved in us in the form of fear, right from childhood. always remember it is someone else’s fear that is being put on us and not our own. And it takes a lot of time and effort to sit with our own self through the inner journey to overcome these fears.

Once you decide, there is no question of “Am I right?” It’s about “Will I be able to do my best?” Trying is important, you will have a lot of lessons on your way!

The journey would be an adventurous bumpy ride, and you may have to face hundreds of questions, which are mostly to try and prove you wrong and sometimes, genuinely out of curiosity and concern. And along with these questions, come all the advices and comments, a few to motivate you and stand with you and a lot that demotivates and discourages you.

You may have done your own research and still be in a dilemma too. Anything we do, another person will definitely have an opinion to it, and as social beings, we do get affected by the slightest of things we hear.

Since we know how hard it is to take a decision even after being an adult, let’s not pass those to the next generation.

Especially, understanding the point that the fear is ours and not theirs and figuring out our own ways to handle our fears and not pass it on them. If at all you opinionated to them, be clear that it is out of your own fear that something has been expressed and has nothing to do with their passion
